So here's a fun fact: Back in the day, before our love for interior design kicked into high gear, P&P once edited the pages of a glossy, gossipy, check-out-aisle magazine all about celebrities. One of the features we helped produce during that stint is still one of our favorites to read—a column that pits two unknowing starlets against each other in a battle of "who wore it best?"

We decided to adopt that concept here at P&P to see how designers are using some of the patterns we love, and who you think used the patterns best. First up: Gingham.
