Lilly Pulitzer + Lee Jofa = Love

If you haven't been following our tweets (@patternpalette) you may not know that P&P's spent the last two days at the first annual BlogFest 2011 conference in New York City. The three-day event has been a mecca for design bloggers, alongside publishing and design industry heavyweights, including Lee Jofa who debuted this adorable new line of home fabrics by Lilly Pulitzer.

We can dote on Lilly for days (she did, after all, launch an iconic brand in order to cover up juice stains on her dresses) but we'll stick to what we love most about this room — the layering of bright, bold patterns that each pack a powerful punch on their own. (We counted six standouts. Think you can find more?)

Color and scale definitely get the credit for keeping this graphic scheme cohesive. Chevron and trellis stick within the same shade of green; blue (the next color over on the color wheel) stands in as an accent beside pink; and the small squares of the gingham on the wall nearly fade into a single solid hue.

The pros at Lilly Pulitzer certainly deserve some kudos, too. They've brought their signature whimsy to Lee Jofa's more traditional style for a collection we can't wait to use on our next DIY.

Tell us: Which fashion brand would you love to see do a home collection next?

And P.S. Lilly P., can't believe it took you so long!
